Impact Martial Arts Academy

My son went to impact, I have mixed reviews. Erwin is a good coach but thats about it. There are no other professional coaches who can train the students. And Erwin doesn’t teach all the classes. So the price you pay for that is bit much. I would say better places with better coaches are available in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake with lesser price

I was genuinely interested in enrolling both of my children, but the sales approach completely turned me off. I made it clear I was looking for something for both girls. When they couldn't accommodate my younger child, the immediate response was essentially, “Should we book the 8-year-old?” rather than trying to find an option that worked for our family. There were also repeated messages about the special “filling up,” having a spot “reserved,” and securing it before the promotion ended. It felt like high-pressure scarcity sales rather than a family-focused conversation. When I explained that this was why I decided not to enroll, the response apologized for “overwhelming” me. I wasn't overwhelmed. I was put off by the sales tactics. Very different things. We will not be considering this business. There are plenty that are welcoming versus agressive and uncaring.

Great staff and owners. This establishment is top notch. If I could give them 10 stars I would. They really worked with my 6-year-old son. Everyone there, both students and staff were very positive, supportive and encouraging.

I have memories of this place, I remember my first class in Muay Thai, it was on April 12, 2016. The main reason I wanted to go into martial arts is to learn balance, self defense, self discipline, the years ive trained I gained all of that and used them into my skill set, I was 10 years old when I started. I stopped around 2024 due to me graduating high school and focusing solely on myself. I graduated the Juniors program back in 2021. I received my black belt, words cannot fathom how amazing the Impact family is and has been to myself and my family, they were always there for me during class, outside of class, even when I was dealing with personal issues they always had my back, The staff is very helpful. They work with everyone in their own unique ways that opens up the toolbox for the students to expand and to retain the techniques, staff has always been so friendly including the instructors, if you ever needed help with anything in your training they would go out of their way to help you. I really loved how they had a program on Fridays nights for the students in the Muay Thai class to crisp their training and their combos and to refine them, There was always 1 quote from my f

I have been at King Tiger for many years. It is the best environment for discipline, hard work, and knowing that you earn what you get. The best thing about learning at King Tiger is every class is growth! The instructors learn how the children develope the best and challenge them to do so! My son received his red belt rank recently and we are proud! I recomend King Tiger to everyone!
